Sara Jamshidi is a graphic designer and art director with MA in visual communication from the Royal College of Art. She is a research-based designer with a practice that spans between the realms of archives and special collections, museums and education with an editorial design approach.

Before attending RCA, Sara has worked at Winterhouse studio and Design Observer, where she was senior designer and also contributed to the website as a writer including for her column, The Observers

Sara has conducted workshops in the UK and US at the RCA as well as other universities and schools, focusing on combining graphic design and collaboration with social methods of learning. Her work has been exhibited internationally including at Dubai Design Week, Typographic Singularity in London, and AIGA 50 Books 50 Covers in New York. Sara has received several scholarhips including AIGA CT creative scholarship and was shortlisted for Art Directors Club’s Young Guns in 2016. She is awarded a grant by Magic of Persia foundation to develop her MA final project about Iranian stamps. She is currently working on a publication telling Iran's cultural history trough the visual iconography of Iranian stamps.
